Have you ever wondered what exactly the difference is between our club boats? Below is a description of each. Please remember that lightweight rowers may row in a heavyweight boat. Heavyweight rowers will have difficulty rowing in a lightweight boat because the boat will sit too low in the water. Please also note that weight designations refer to the weight of the rowers, not of the boat. Competition boats of all weight classes are built to weigh no less than the FISA minimum for the boat type and are generally within a few pounds of one another regardless of the target weight of the rowers.
